Oklik Bojonegoro was first created in the eighties by the Angling Darmo Ludruk troupe in Sobontoro village, and Oklik music was only known in that area. This has led to a lack of knowledge about Oklik music in the community. Therefore, this research focuses on the description of the existence of Musik Oklik as a means of entertainment in Sobontoro village, Bojonegoro Regency and the description of the preservation of Musik Oklik related to its existence. Related to the focus of this research, the theories used are Farhani's existence theory and Chaedar's music preservation theory. This research uses a qualitative research approach with data collection methods (1) Observation, (2) Interview, (3) Documentation, (4) Literature Study. The results of this study show that the existence of Musik Oklik today is not pure but combined with other instruments. However, its performance remains in the front row during the performance. Then, related to the preservation of Oklik Music, there are many parties involved, including the government, local communities, artists, educational institutions, researchers and academics, as well as the general public who need to continue to collaborate and innovate so that the preservation of Oklik Music is increasingly recognized by the public both inside and outside Bojonegoro Regency.
