Utilizing Digital Technology in Music Branding on Social Media into Learning Media

The utilization of home recording or music home recording independently with proper optimization of social media can deliver creative works of indie musicians to introduce themselves in the music industry. The purpose of this research is to analyze digital technology in the promotion of musical works through social media into learning media. By using descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques of observation, interviews, documentation, and bibliography. Then the data obtained is reduced, analyzed, presented data and drawn conclusions. With the utilization of digital technology in various platforms on social media such as Youtube, Instagram, Tiktok, it has become a promotional media and a stepping stone for new music works and musicians born in Indonesia to be recognized and without having to go through a music label. The existence of digital technology and social media, this phenomenon is used as a means of learning media in teaching and learning.
